One of Mason County’s winemaking pioneers, Pere Marquette Winery is quietly producing some of Michigan’s finest wines. 

Named in honor of the French Explorer, who in the 1600’s understood both the beauty and bounty that could be found here.

Pere Marquette Winery has carefully selected grapes that thrive in the vineyard’s unique climate and terroir. Warm days, cooler nights and rolling hills with rich fertile soil provide the perfect growing conditions for our wines.
